Tras más de una semana de buen cine en la capital hispalense, el Festival de Cine Europeo llega al final de su undécima edición con un claro triunfador, Turist, una coproducción de Suecia, Dinamarca y Noruega dirigida por Ruben Östlund, candidata sueca a los Oscars de Hollywood, que ya apuntaba como una de las grandes favoritas y que además se ha llevado el premio al mejor guión.

El Gran Premio del Público ha recaído sobre la producción italiana El Capital Humano, dirigida por Paolo Virzí y de extraordinario estilo narrativo. Mientras, otra de las grandes favoritas, Leviathan tan sólo ha logrado el  Premio a la Mejor Dirección de Fotografía.

La maravillosa, en todos los aspectos, Lilting ha sido inexplicablemente derrocada por la sueca Something Must Break en el Primer Premio Ocaña a la Libertad en cine LGTB.
